We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2025, at the age of 91, Lawrence Parra (Franklin Park, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lawrence departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lawrence leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Agnes; and his children, Nick, Ralph, Lucy, Monica and Abigail. He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sax Tiedemann Funeral Home (9568 W Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
