She is survived by: her children, JoAnne Merkle (Robert) and Joseph Lechman (Deborah); her grandchildren, Joseph Lechman (Svelta), Laura Merkle, Jennifer Rangoonwala (Ayub) and Emily Merkle; and her great grandchildren, Liliana, Eleanor and Joseph.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sax Tiedemann Funeral Home (9568 W Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Virgin Martyrs Catholic Church (4157 Atlantic Ave, Schiller Park, IL 60176). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Maryhill Catholic Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
