William left this world on June 25, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He is survived by: his wife Joan Weichbrodt; his children, Susan Bratanick (George), Karen Weichbrodt, Bill Weichbrodt (Diane), Marcia Cozzi (Anthony) and James Weichbrodt (Marianne); his grandchildren, Brian Bratanick (Rachel), Jason Bratanick (Jennifer), Melissa Carrasco, Kristen Walter (John), Jessica Fischer (Robert) and Jimmy Weichbrodt; and his niece Nancy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sax-Tiedemann Funeral and Crematorium (9568 W Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Virgin Martyrs Catholic Church (4157 Atlantic Ave, Schiller Park, IL 60176). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (2852 N Thatcher Ave, River Grove, IL 60171).
