Carolyn S. Thompson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn S. Thompson (Freeburg, Illinois), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fresen and Alice Fresen. She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Thompson; her sons, Brain Thompson (Shannon), Michael Thompson and Jamie Thompson; her grandchildren, Brianne, Leeah, Neill, Christian and Ava; her sister Marilyn; and her brothers-in-law, Wally Rantz and John Thompson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Catholic War Veterans (3535 IL-159, Freeburg, IL 62243).
