Darlene Rose Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Rose of Freeburg, Illinois, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parent William E. H. (Mae E. A.); and her siblings, William Foster and Helen Foster. She is survived by: her sons, Carl Rose (Donna), David Rose (Karen), Robert Rose (Marilyn) and Daniel Rose (Colleen); and her sisters, Donna Foster-Beigler and Judy Hanis. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Louis, MO.
