It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Andi Norment of Freeman Spur, Illinois, born in Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hines and Maude Hines (Wilson); her son James Troy Young; and her brother-in-law Jerry Ross. She is survived by: her son Monty; her daughter-in-law Stacy Norment of Herrin; her grandsons, Mark A. Norment of Herrin and Jared Norment of Herrin; her siblings, Dorothy Ross of Cape Coral, FL and Edward; and her sister-in-law Lucinda Hines of Johnston City, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Second Baptist Church, 900 South 11th Street, Herrin, IL 62948; envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
