He was predeceased by: his parents, Sig Swanson and Elsa Swanson (Carlson); his grandson Tanner Swanson; his brothers, Lee and David Swanson; and his stepson-in-law Rob Ellsworth.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Snyder; his children, Jon Swanson (Ashley) and Kati Penkava (Todd); his stepchildren, Bobby Smith (Cristina) and PJ (Rob Ellsworth); his brothers, Dennis Swanson (Jacqui) and Loren Swanson (Judy); and his grandchildren, Elsa, Jackson, Julien Swanson, Jayden, Kailee Gorham, Elay, Will Penkava, Stella Smith, Gui Freitas, Jake Ellsworth and Riley Kauth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
