With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara L. Donahue (Freeport, Illinois), who passed away on October 9, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Atherton and Laverne Atherton (Cook); her husband Robert Donahue (Ribs); her brothers, William, Ronald and Rodney Atherton; and her siblings-in-law, James Elliott and Ruth Atherton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Marten (Ken) of Freeport, Colleen Lassandro (Len) of Freeport, Molly Borneman (Gary) of Freeport, Erin Stewart (Rich) of Freeport, Cara Giuffre of Freeport and Bridget Disch (Jeff) of Madison, WI.; her grandchildren, Keith Marten (Amy), Kelly Haymond, Kristen Winters (Chad), Ryan Lassandro (Heather), Neil Lassandro (Dolly), Sarah Shroyer (Billy), Kyle Borneman (Nichol), Eric Borneman (Jenna), Caley Marten (Mike), Brad Stewart (Katie), Molly Stewart, Ellen Disch, Paula Disch, Grant Disch, Vincent Giuffre, Samuel Giuffre, Louis Giuffre and Paul Giuffre; her sister Doris Elliott of Kankakee; and her godchildren, Laurie Kolwelter (Lonnie), Leigh Wegrich (Don) of Kankakee and Lindsay Elliott (Kelly) of Austin, TX.
