She is survived by: her children, David Simler (Vicki Buehler) of Freeport, Diane Niemann (Daylon) of Warren and Darius Simler (Sherry) of Pearl City; her daughter-in-law Linda Simler of Lena; her grandchildren, Steve Simler (Alycia), Dawn Krell (Todd), Vicki Ifert (Corey), Tim Niemann (Julie), Angela Niemann (Tory), Lori Hanisko (Aaron), Brenda Westfall (Randall), Beth Gordon (Michael), Brittany Simler and Ross Simler (Chelsey); her granddaughter-in-law Amelia Simler; her great grandchildren, Nicole Jefferson (Malcolm), Jeremy Simler (Heather), Michelle Simler, Logan Krell, Caitlyn Krell (Ryan), Justin Ifert (Karri), Matthew Ifert, Ashleigh Ifert, Jason Niemann (Aly), Alex Niemann, Maya Niemann, Emma Bomski (Blake), Heidi Westfall, Hewyt Westfall, Lillian Gordon, Case Simler, Charlie Simler and Evelyn Simler; and her great great grandchildren, Carter Jefferson and Wyatt Simler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Walker Mortuary, Ltd. (321 W Main St, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.
