He is survived by: his wife Valerie Hale; his children, Ansonya Hale, Rachael Williams (Gerry) and James Hale; his grandchildren, Gerry "Trey" Williams, III, Azier "Azi" Smith and Avery Williams; his sisters, Shirley Hale and Sharon Cunnigan-Wilson; his siblings' children, Wanda Hale, Candice "Pooh" White, Breanna Cunnigan, Louis Hale and Tierre; and his close friend Victor "Vic" Berry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, loving relatives.
