With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Concepcion Morales of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Concepcion is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Concepcion's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Santos Morales and Josefa Alvarez; and her daughter Rosario Huertero.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schwarz Funeral Home (816 S Galena Ave, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (704 S State Ave, Freeport, IL 61032).
