She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Boyer and Orlena Boyer (Thompson); her husband Ronald Kempel; and her brothers, Boyd and Richard Boyer.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Kempel (Heather) of Freeport, IL, Bradley Kempel (Diane) of Lena, IL and Douglas Kempel (Connie) of Lena, IL.; her grandchildren, Chris Kempel, Curt Kempel, Chelsea Kempel (Chad Colliver), Jason Kempel (Jennifer), Bethany Haughan (Teag), Jake Kempel, Rachel Bedeker (Roger) and Danielle Thomas (Ryan); her stepgrandchildren, Erik Eiseman and Kelsey Eiseman (Eric Ramirez); her great grandchildren, Owen, Emma, Lucas, Liam, Ava, Mason, Logan, Laine, Cayla, Max and Sabrina; and her sister Deborah Hughes.
