It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene W. Goodsell of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbur Goodsell and Ivah Goodsell (Bastian). He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Trickel of Freeport; and his daughters, Nancy Friedly (Stanley) of Juda, WI and LaVonne Dietmeier (Todd) of Pearl City.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
