She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Lichnerowicz and Alvina Lichnerowicz (Ostrowski); her husband Richard Wheeler Sr.; her daughter Faith; and her sisters, Mildred Kunis (John) and Nadine Morse (William).

She is survived by: her children, Richard Wheeler Jr. (Crystal) of Whiting, Joseph Wheeler (Anne) of Homer Glen, Mary Rios (Manuel) of San Jose and Kathryn Martinez (Lucio) of Freeport; her grandchildren, Nicolas (Ricci), Conrad, Richard III (Meghan), Meagan, Jennifer, Matthew, Jack, Aidan and Grace; and her great grandchildren, Rocco, Luca, Reign, Tessa, Allan Jr. and Ayla.

Memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society-Ovarian Cancer in memory of Every.
