Eve Pitterle Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 21, 2022, at the age of 86, Eve Pitterle of Freeport, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Goldsmith and Viola Goldsmith (Kuntz); her husband Leonard Pitterle; and her siblings, Barbara Goldsmith and John Goldsmith.

She is survived by: her sons, James Pitterle, Richard Pitterle (Sherry), Ed Pitterle and Mark; her grandmother Julie Mellnick (Russ); her grandchildren, Jaimie, Alex Pitterle, Josh, Jacob, Joseph Pitterle, Heidi Seals, Anne Anderson (Jared), Allison Brouhard (Eli), Rebecca Kennedy (James) and Mark Mellnick (Faith); her great grandchildren, Marah Seals, Luca, Olivia Anderson, Lincoln Kennedy and Sebastian Mellnick; and her brother George Goldsmith.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established on Eve's behalf for the Freeport Area Church Co-Op Food Pantry.
