It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence E. Fawver of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on July 7, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Donald Maize; her husbands, Howard Spielman and Philip Fawver; and her siblings, Lawrence Maize, Jerry Maize, Delores Martz, Pauline Sager and Carol Contardi.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Terpening (Charles) of Freeport, Dianne Mathews (Thomas) of Freeport, James Spielman (Susan) of Columbia, MO and Thomas Spielman (Susan) of Newton Falls, OH; her grandchildren, Stephen Terpening (Kristi Ragsdale), Curtis Terpening (Stacey), Jason Mathews (Heather), Sheena Mathews, Lucas Spielman (Jaina), Brittany Archibong (Emmanuel), Kyle Spielman, Erin Sonneson (Josh), Thomas Spielman Jr. and Katie Spielman; her stepgranddaughter Andrea Pauley; her siblings, Delmar Maize (Linda) of Freeport, Lyle Maize (Deborah) of Paris, TN and Annabelle Welling (Donald) of Rock City, IL; and her friend Juanita Thomas of LaGranda, OR.. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
