Florence Klentz Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Klentz of Freeport, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Paul and Florence Paul (Skinner); her stepfather John Siefert (Kenneth); her sons-in-law, Gary Moore and Kenneth Vance; and her siblings, Charles Paul (Betty), Clarence Paul (Alberta), Ed Paul (Charlotte), Frank Paul (Olive), Alma Goebel (Carl) and Caroline Bahr (Meno).

She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Florence Moore of Freeport and Patricia Ann Vance of Salinas, CA; her grandchildren, Scott Moore (Patricia), Melody Jordan (Brad), Kevin Moore (Betty) and Kenneth Vance; and her great grandchildren, Adrienne Beck (Josh), Julian Moore (Jean), Kenneth Moore (Abigail), Aaron VanSteenvoort, Shaun Moore, Tauna Moore, Angela Moore (Adam Krieger), Emily Vance-Lira (Fernando) and Kenneth Vance III. She is also survived by numerous great-great grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
