George R. McCarty Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 24, 2021, at the age of 68, George R. McCarty of Freeport, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard McCarty and Ethel McCarty (Van Matre); his father-in-law LaVerne Schneider; and his stepfather Charles Dodson. He is survived by: his grandsons, Rhyder and Rhayden; his wife SueAnn McCarty of Freeport, IL; his daughters, Candace Monson (Brett) of Marengo, IL and Andria Cornelius (Rhett) of German Valley, IL; his brother Daylon Reed Jr. (Margaret) of Arizona; his mother-in-law Ilene Schneider of Lena, IL; his sister-in-law Cheryl Schneider; and his nieces, Suzanne Walters and Angie Cunningham.

The family asks that due to Covid, please wear a mask and respect social distancing.
