He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Ambrose Stocks and Isabelle Stocks (Ruthe); his sister Jean Luedeking (Wesley); and his stepson-in-law Eric Pigo. He is survived by: his wife Antonina Stocks of Belleville, Wisconsin; his children, Joelle Dunnwald (Lawrence) of San Clemente and Robb Stocks (Teresa Morris) of Chandler, Arizona; his stepdaughters, Ashley Frye (Pigo) of Green Bay and Kelly Frye of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, Logan, Alyse and Jacob Dunnwald of San Clemente, California.; his brother David Stocks (Glenda) of Lena, Illinois; his nephew Jim Luedeking of Freeport, Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Wipperfurth (Larry) of Belleville, Wisconsin, Taras Nahirniak (Lori) of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and Nadya Nahirniak-Hanson (Chris) of Madison, Wisconsin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burke-Tubbs Funeral Homes - Freeport (504 N Walnut Ave, Freeport, IL 61032). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
