It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn William Underwood of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Underwood and Katherine Underwood (Dickman); his son Timothy; and his brothers, Donald and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Eberle of Freeport, IL; his daughter Julie Spaulding (Fred) of Heyworth, IL; his daughter-in-law Karen Underwood of Freeport, IL; his grandchildren, Jessica Hodges (Aaron), Amelia Rhoney (Derek) and Christopher Underwood (Jessica); and his stepgrandsons, Nathan Spaulding and Shane Spaulding. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for FHN Hospice.
