It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlan Ray Diehl of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Diehl and Edith Diehl (DeWall); his wife Lola Mae Duitsman; and his brother Mervin. He is survived by: his children, Debra Gitz (John) of Freeport, IL and Terry Diehl (Karen) of Forreston, IL; his sisters, Bernita Runte of Freeport, IL and Violet Frederick of Freeport, IL; his grandsons, Scott Gitz (Christine), Tim Gitz (Kari), Tony Diehl and Todd Diehl (Jami); his great grandchildren, Violet Diehl, Lily Diehl, Jalayna Diehl, Hannah Gitz, Jazlyn Diehl and Phoenix Diehl; and his close friend Glenda Carter of Machesney Park, IL..
