He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schanfeldt and Olive Schanfeldt; his stepbrother Bob Parke; his in-laws, John and Christine Hastings; his brother-in-law Ronnie Hastings; and his son-in-law Mike O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Jay and Angie; and his grandchildren, Blaine, Evan, Erin Schanfeldt (Connor Bernardo), Megan and Michael O'Brien.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Mark's name at Friends Forever Humane Society and FHN Hospice.
