With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanne Ann Klaus of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Yoder and Carolee Yoder (Knauff); her husband Robert Klaus Sr.; her siblings, Dale Yoder and Marion Reed; and her daughters-in-law, Jolene Carney and Maribeth Klaus.

She is survived by: her children, Dave Klaus of Freeport, IL, Bob Klaus of Freeport, IL, Debbie Whalen (Doug) of Freeport, IL, Amy Folk (Jim) of Winnebago, IL and Sarah Meier (Robert) of Freeport, IL.; and her grandchildren, Kristen Woitynek (Sean), Jennifer Singler, Eric Whalen (Jennifer), Mike Klaus (Tara), Christopher Whalen, Shawn Klaus (Jen Tucker), Danielle Peterson (Lucas), Daniel Meier (Maia), Josh Folk and Brandon Meier.

Over the years, she enjoyed being active in Joy Singers, Park Hills Bible Studies, Sunshine Singers, and an RSVP Volunteer.

A memorial has been established in Jeanne's memory.
