He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dianne; his pet Buddy; his children, Brenda Petticrew (Doug Queckboerner), Brad Kauffman (Carol) and Lanna Kauffman-Trigg (Rick); his grandchildren, Morgan Mueller (Ryan), Annaliese Shultis (Elijah), Damian and Nadine Kauffman; and his great grandchildren, Vaida, Lux Mueller, Riley, Charlie Shultis and Baby Shultis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Schwarz Park (608 S Park Blvd, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lanark Cemetery (600 E Pearl St, Lanark, IL 61046).
