She is survived by: her children, Kathi LeGault, Hanna, Gabriel and Kurt Koester (Chris); her grandchildren, Landon, Griffin (Cam) and Keegan; her son Scott Koester (Heidi); her grandchild Triston (Ceara); her daughter Krista Deutsch (Tom); her grandchildren, Hayden (Audrey) and Emma (Brett); her daughter Kara Erdahl (Doug); her grandchildren, Karli, Mya, Reese and Liam; her great grandchildren, Forrest, Grant, Nora, Max and Rosie; and her sisters, Mary Auer, Ann Moest and Helen Moest. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burke Tubbs Funeral Home - Freeport (504 N Walnut Ave, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (704 S State Ave, Freeport, IL 61032). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (2514 IL-26, Freeport, IL 61032).
