She was predeceased by: her mother Wanda Thies; and her former husband James Butinski. She is survived by: her siblings, Star Thies and Timothy Thies; and her daughters, Naomi Cook and Kaylynne Drucejones.

She actively supported and volunteered with fundraisers, local donation drives, and community organizations across Illinois and Oklahoma.
