Louella J. Lutz Obituary

Louella J. Lutz, 84, of Freeport, IL, passed away on September 9, 2021 at home. She was born on November 16, 1936 in Rockford, IL to Raymond W. and Barbara (Brubaker) Lutz. She was a graduate of Freeport High School and Rockford Business College. She retired from Honeywell. Other employment included Burgess and Lutz Clover Farm Store.

Survivors include her son, Neil (Lisa) Lutz; 4 grandchildren: Cory (Stephanie), Bridget, Ashley, and Anthony; 9 great-grandchildren: Breanna, Jazmyn, Ja' Lycea, Annyiah, Dominic, Anthony Jr, Elizianna, Addisyn, and Cory Jr; sister Iola Carrithers; 2 brothers: Clinton (Debbie) Lutz and Scott (Barb) Lutz; several nieces and nephews, and special aunt Pauline Yoder.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond W. Lutz and Barbara (Brubaker) Lutz, sister Carolyn Aurand, brother Larry Lutz, and great-grandchild Elijah Karstedt.

A funeral service will be held on Friday September 17, 2021 at 5 PM, with visitation at 4 PM until time of service, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. Interment in Oakland Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her memory.
