He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Collalti and Lavonne Collalti (Hendricks); his wife Ruth Ann; his brother Gary Collalti; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Ethridge and Jim Thruman.

He is survived by: his sons, Tony (Heather), Troy (Lori Vorwald) and Duane Springer Jr.; his brother Mike Saxby (Donna); his siblings-in-law, Donna Thruman, Doris Wales (Gary), Deb Collalti and Fred Ethridge (Kim); his grandchildren, Kyle (Keely Scace), Ty, Gage, Gabriella, Vincenzio, Anthony and Kaden Springer; his great grandchildren, Laila and Kashton Sullivan; and his close friend Brandi Wilhelms.

Due to covid-19, a short ceremony and celebration of life will be held at a later date, at Prince of Peace Church.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
