With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marian Long of Freeport, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marian Long to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth E. Long of Paul's Lutheran Church; her siblings, Lawrence, Willard, Robert Robieson and Evelyn Bouray; and her brother-in-law Lester Niemann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Brinker (Jeffrey Kuhlmeyer) of Lena and Susan Gundrum (Timothy) of Woodstock; her siblings, Dwayne Robieson (Carol), Donald Robieson, Laverne Robieson (Julie), Nelson Robieson (Carol), Rolland Robieson (Sheryl) and Carol Niemann; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Bouray and Norma Robieson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leamon Funeral Home (210 W Main St, Lena, IL 61048). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in Marian's name.
