He is survived by: his wife Kim Viars of Freeport; his children, Andy Johnstone of Freeport and Marla Erima of Batavia, Illinois; his siblings, Linda Johnstone of Carol Stream, Stacey Johnstone of Bradley and Jimmy Johnstone (Denise) of Portland; and his grandchildren, Audrey, Evelyn, Matthew, Jude and Elizabeth.
