It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ella Day of Freeport, Illinois, born in Redlands, California, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ansell Forbes and Opal Forbes (Knight); her husband Donald J. Day; her son Donald G. Day; and her brother Robert Forbes.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Collier (Dave) of Freeport, IL; her sister Joy Lee Coffin of Missouri; her daughter-in-law Jane Furey (Robert) of Naples, FL; her grandchildren, Katie Downey (Nick) of Avon, IN and Steven Collier (Amanda) of Shannon, IL; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Sean, Ethan, Scott, Isabell, Lucas and Emma.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
