She is survived by: her husband Richard Place of Joe's Church; her daughters, Lesley Benecke (Matt), Jamie Crackenberger (Ryan) and Renee Wilhelms (Chris); her grandchildren, Kara Place (Emmett Stimpert), Brandon Wilhelms (Desiree Fulton), Leah Wilhelms, Olivia Wilhelms and Nolan Benecke; and her daughters, Willow Wilhelms and Ivy Stimpert.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel (608 S Park Blvd, Freeport, IL 61032).
