She is survived by: her grandsons, Christopher Appelman, Adrian Appelman (Jocelyn) and Devon Schubert of Dubuque, IA.; her great grandchildren, Briannah Barton of Chicago, Alexia of Dubuque, IA, Sparrow of Dubuque, IA, Esmae Appelman of Dubuque, IA, John Guess (Paige Cray) of Dubuque, IA, Xavier Guess of Dubuque, IA, Carson of Dubuque, IA and Benett Schubert of Dubuque, IA; her great great grandchild Iris Guess; and her friend Lydia Frazier. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Burke-Tubbs Funeral Homes - Freeport (504 N Walnut Ave, Freeport, IL 61032).
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund in her name has been established for Mercyhealth Hospice.
