He is survived by: his wife Joanne Knodle of Freeport; his children, Gregg Knodle (Kathy) of Freeport and Luann Stewart of Freeport; and his grandchildren, Stacy Fernstaedt (Dan), Laura Pierce (Breo), Troy Stewart (Rachel) and Kristi Walz (Kevin). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
