He was predeceased by: his father Paul Samuel Detwiler; his grandparents, William and Barbara Detwiler; his uncle John Detwiler; his cousins, Mark and Tom Detwiler; his mother Alice Louise Boley Detwiler (Boley); his son Richard Detwiler; and his brother Donald Detwiler.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Holland; his daughters, Dawn Kuntzelman (Brian) and Janet Weber (Chad); his granddaughters, Paige Troyer (Isaac) and Faith Weber; his sisters, Juanita Thomas (Carl) and Sandra Puder; his grandchildren, Jason Kuhse, Jesse Kuhse and Devin Goodman; and his daughter-in-law Martha Detwiler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
