He was predeceased by: his parents, Merwin Brauer and Mary Brauer (Seebauer); and his siblings, Sue Donmeyer and Adrian Brauer (Don Fehr). He is survived by: his former wife Mary Keller Brauer (Reynolds) of Freeport; his children, Steve Brauer (Dawn) of Freeport and Amy Spencer (Celia); and his brother Dean Brauer (Pam) of Wichita, KS.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walker Mortuary, Ltd. (321 W Main St, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
