He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Brinkmeier and Marietta Brinkmeier (Hoffman); his brothers, Jim Brinkmeier and Daryl Brinkmeier; and his parents-in-law, John and Vera Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Brinkmeier (Peterson). He is also survived by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law; and a large extended family.
