Richard Emmons Luthin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2025, at the age of 95, Richard Emmons Luthin (Freeport, Illinois), born in Hinsdale, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmons F. Luthin and Ruth Luthin (Roberts); his wife Sally Rideout; and his son Gary. He is survived by: his close friend Carol Russell; his grandchildren, Katie Gurklis (Matt), Courtney Dufford, Adam Luthin (Anne), Emily Dufford, Rory Luthin and Riley Luthin; and his great grandchild Bryson Gurklis.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parkview Home (1711 W Church St, Freeport, IL 61032).
