He is survived by: his children, Patrick Unger of Douglasville, GA and Allyson Shipley of Valpo, IN; and his siblings, David, Mark Unger of Freeport, IL, Mary Peace of Loves Park, IL and Dorothy McConnell of Rock Falls, IL..
