It is with sadness that the passing of Roger Jacobs (Freeport, Illinois) is shared. Roger, born on June 10, 1940, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jacobs and Marie Jacobs (Meier); his siblings, Augie Jacobs, Wilmer Jacobs, Art Jacobs and Martha Jacobs; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Jacobs, Dianne Jacobs and Rosie Kruse.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Kruse; his son Roderick of Pearl City, Illinois; his siblings, Earl Jacobs (Chris), Ken Jacobs (Barb) and Shirley Deininger (Scott); his niece Pam Bardell (David); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Kruse and Carol Jacobs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel (608 S Park Blvd, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in Roger's name for American Legion Post 1014 and Malcolm Eaton Enterprises.
