She is survived by: her husband Gary Young of Freeport; her sons, Joel Young (Jean) of Arizona and Jake Young (Alicia) of Dekalb, IL; her brother Jon Michael (Lynn) of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Seth, Skylier, Tayla and Gavin; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Carter, Wes, Max and Drake.
A memorial has been established for Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL and Servants of Mary-St. Thomas.
