It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheila Hooper (Freeport, Illinois), who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bach and Alfreda Bach; her son Lance Hooper; her siblings, Theodore Bach, Nicholas Bach, Michael Bach and Patricia Steele; her siblings-in-law, Robert Steele and Kay Bach; her nephew Dan Steele; and her great-nephew Preston Steele-Alston.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Hooper, Victoria Hooper (John Webb) and Patricia Friend (Cyril); and her grandchildren, Trisha Hooper (Eric Slater), Nicholas Webb (Lacretia), Maggie Hooper, Jacob Hooper, Katie Hooper, Kip Friend, Calvin Friend and Cade Friend. She is also survived by seven Great Grandchildren; and many loved and loving nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
