He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald "Ronnie" Miller and Mildred "Millie" Miller (Canode); his brother Stanley "Spud" Miller; his nephew David Miller; and his brothers-in-law, Butch Farbo and Mark Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Miller (Owens); his children, Stefany Brown (Charlie) and Michael Miller (Angela Masbruch); his siblings, Vicki Farbo, Stacy Miller (Trina) and Tania VanBriesen; his grandchildren, Rachel, Becca, Aech, Kyle, Judah and Jackson; and his great grandchild Jordan.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Freeport Eagles Club (1200 W Galena Ave, Freeport, IL 61032).
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Alzheimer's Association (https://donorservices.alz.org) or the Pecatonica Historical Society, causes close to Steve and Sue's heart.
