She was predeceased by: her sister Deborah Kay Harms; and her mother-in-law Frieda Bufton. She is survived by: her parents, Clarence Janicke and Geraldine Janicke (Mayer); her husband Rodney Bufton of Freeport; her children, Melissa Calderon of Freeport, Amanda Coulthard (Steven) of Lanark and Trevor Bufton of Freeport; her brother Michael Janicke; her grandchildren, Tanner, Collin, Korrie, Kenadi, Brynlie, Adaliah, Bryden and Briggs; and her great grandchildren, Hadley and Adaline.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burke-Tubbs Funeral Homes - Freeport (504 N Walnut Ave, Freeport, IL 61032). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 1805 S West Ave, Freeport, IL 61032.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Teresa's memory.
