We are sad to announce that, on May 13, 2026, at the age of 68, Terry A. Tipton of Freeport, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Terry had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Terry may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his father John W. Tipton; his grandparents, Glenn and Edith Kraft; and his sister Marlys Gibson. He is survived by: his mother Karrol Tipton (Kraft); and his brothers, Russell Tipton (Anna) of Freeport, William Tipton of Dixon and Mark Lang (Mona) of Orangeville. He is also survived by Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a great niece.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
