With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas L. Koertner of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Koertner and Esther Koertner (Lytle); and his brother David Koertner. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Koertner of Freeport; and his siblings, James Koertner (Myriam) of Oriedo, Florida and Nancy Klapp (Bob) of Dakota, IL.. He is also survived by three nephews and two nieces.

Due to Covid private family graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established at the State Bank in Freeport for the City of Freeport Fire Department.
