He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frederick and Helen Louise Hartog; and his sister Susan Hartog. He is survived by: his brother Thomas Hartog (Lynn Hartog); and his nieces, Lauren Hartog and Dr. Leigh Hartog (Cody Calhoun).
