He is survived by: his wife Debbie Meeks; his daughters, Tera Elsasser (Eric), Ashley Boothe (Adam) and Erin Shumway (Matthew); his grandchildren, Hazel, Charlie, Noah, Owen, Molly, Jack and Baby Shumway; his brothers, Jay Apel, Brian Apel (Helen) and Kevin Apel (Dana); his aunt Sandi Apel (Margaret Van Cleave); his in-laws, Norman and Thelma Meeks; his sisters-in-law, Cindy Meeks, Lisa Meeks (Tim Finn) and Tracy Walper (Todd); and his pet Coco. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.
