He is survived by: his wife Ruth Kempthorne (Kunkle); his children, Rosanne Tuttle (Jay), Mike Kempthorne, Terese Kempthorne and Lisa Kempthorne; his sister Susan Bigelow (Dick); his granddaughter Maria Kempthorne; and his great grandchildren, Dylon and Alivia.
