James L. Wiersema Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ursal Wiersema and Ruth Wiersema (DeVries); his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Mathew; his son Jason; his stepfather Michael Foley; his sister Marcia VanderLinde; and his stepbrother David Foley.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Snyder (Joe) of Fulton, Joe Wiersema (Tatum) of Fulton and Andy Wiersema (Alesha) of Fulton; his siblings, Kathy Montgomery (Don) of Fulton, Cindy Wiersema of Dyersville, IA, Tim Wiersema (Bonny) of Clinton, IA and Russell Wiersema (Karen) of Morrison; and his grandchildren, Rhett, Brantley, Mallori and Bristol. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home (1601 16th Ave, Fulton, IL 61252). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
